Here's how

Everyone knows someone whose remodel went sideways.

We built Horizon so that someone is never you.

Why us

What the cheapest bid really costs.

Every row below is something a homeowner has been burned by.
Here's how we run it instead.

The price

An “estimate” that creeps as the change orders pile up.

One locked number. Your quote is your final invoice.

The timeline

“A few months,” with no date you can hold them to.

A finish date in writing, mapped phase by phase.

Who you talk to

A salesman closes the deal, then disappears.

One owner on your site who answers his own phone.

Updates

Silence, until you call to ask what’s going on.

A daily recap with photos. You’re never wondering.

Design + build

An architect and a contractor, and you eat the gap when they disagree.

One team owns design and build, start to finish.

Your house

They show up when they show up, mess and all.

Clean work, around your life. Home left better every evening.

What we love doing

You imagine it.
Our crew designs and builds it.

An owner who answers.

Horizon is owner-run with a full, licensed and insured crew behind it.
Uri Yochelman, owner, comes to remodeling from real estate, a Keller Williams professional and an active investor, so every plan is drawn with one eye on how you live in the space and the other on what it does for your home's value.

Fair questions

The questions to ask any contractor

Why aren't you the cheapest quote I'll get? +
Because our number includes everything the cheap quote leaves out, then locks. Lowball bids win the signature and recover their margin in change orders. Our price is the real cost of the job, told to you up front, in writing.
How "fixed" is the fixed price, really? +
The scope we agree on is the price you pay. It moves in exactly two cases: you change your mind about the scope, or we uncover a hidden problem behind a wall. Both come to you as photos and a written price before any work happens, and only your signature moves the number.
What happens if you find something bad inside the wall? +
You see it the same day, photographed, with a price and our recommendation. Nothing gets fixed, and nothing gets billed, until you say go. confirm policy
Are you licensed and insured? +
Yes. [License number and insurance details go here, verified, with the documents available on request.] confirm license + insurance
Can we live in the house during the remodel? +
Usually, yes. We sequence the work to keep a working kitchen or bath available wherever possible, seal off the construction zone, and leave the site clean every evening.
When can you start? +
The conversation can start this week. Design takes two to three weeks, and your build slot gets scheduled the day you sign, with the date in the contract.
No pressure, no obligation

Start with a conversation.

Tell us what you're imagining. You'll get a straight read on feasibility, a ballpark range, and a clear next step. If we're a fit, you'll know. If we're honest about it being out of our lane, you'll know that too.

We reply within one business day. Your info goes nowhere else.
